Close coupled V-Form range

The Cousins’ V-Form has proved to be the ideal tool to shatter hard pans, improve soil structure, moisture control and root growth, leaving a uniform, whilst leaving a level seedbed with minimum surface disturbance.

The ‘Close Coupled’ (CC) headstock design combined with the toolbar angle of 20 degrees reduces the tail weight and gives greater flexibility for fitting rear attachments.

When used in combination with the Disc tilling unit and exclusive Razor Rings, the result is a truly versatile implement.

The new disc tilling assembly comprises of two rows of 500mm (20”) diameter discs, which are individually mounted on shock absorbing units. The discs are mounted on the V-Form CC, behind the subsoil tines and in front of the rear packer or Razor Rings. This combination enables an intensity of sub-surface cultivation and surface finish, with consolidation that is normally only available with much larger and much more expensive equipment.

Reduced downtime can be achieved by taking up the new ‘low cost option’ Quickfoot™, a new one-piece point/wing/shin assembly that replaces the standard four-piece arrangement. The convenience of this is expected to win customers of new and existing V-Forms.

The new V-Form CC retains that simple, rugged design and fits into most budgets.

Sample close coupled models are 2.25m V-Form CC with 3 legs and toothed packer; 2.75m with 5 legs and toothed packer and 2.75m V-Form CC with 5 legs, disc tilling unit for shallow working and Cousins’ razor rings.
