Razor Rings
Razor Rings have been developed as an alternative to cast press rings and the usual rear attachments found on heavy duty cultivators.
Manufactured using a unique process, the Razor Ring is formed from two dished discs fitted face to face to form a press ring type shape with a relatively sharp leading edge. The rings are then mounted onto a large diameter continuous tubular axle. The whole assembly runs on bearings, which are mounted on the outside. Adjustable close scrapers are fitted to clean between the rings. Each Razor Ring has a flat angular profile enabling a clod cutting action with the leading edge, whilst the broader angular profile gives a firming and shaping effect. The shape is efficient and effective on varying soil types making it a versatile cultivation tool. A continuous ridging profile to the soil is the result in most conditions with a consistent consolidation effect across the full machine working width.

When fitted as a rear attachment the rings effectively control the working depth, giving the cultivating effect of a heavier cast ring without excess weight. The suction from the subsoil legs is dispersed onto the rings thereby intensifying the cultivation effect.

Springboard Presses
Maintenance is simplified when presses are fitted with Razor Rings.
Rings can not come loose on the axle, will not break and rings do not have to be removed from the axle to replace bearings.
Front Presses
Choosing a ring type is a problem on a farm with varying soil types. Broad profile cast rings can be excessively heavy and narrow profiles chosen to cut clods on heavy soils can sink excessively on lighter areas. Razor Rings offer a viable solution.

Crumbler Barrels
We can make Crumblers to an exact length to suit customer‘s existing machine or special application. The weights shown do not include arms, bearings or any framework at all.
Options:
- Fitting kit for 24" (610mm) Giant Crumbler: Comprises of arms, 2" bearings, turnbuckles, frame brackets etc.
- Fitting kit for 18" (450mm) Crumbler (with 1.5" bearing.
- A Trip Bar is required if implemented has shear bolt legs to prevent damaging legs/crumbler.
