Tined Harrows
For decades, Cousins of Emneth has produced robust, innovative harrows that meet the exacting demands of our farming customers. Our range suits a variety of soil conditions, offering solutions that deliver a level, consistent seedbed and reduce the need for multiple passes.
Below, you will find our selection of linkage mounted and trailed harrows, with varying combinations of working elements.

Precision Seedbed Harrow
Designed to produce a firm level seedbed quickly and efficiently, whilst also removing tractor wheelings. The Precision Seedbed Harrow is fully trailed and available in 3m rigid 4m, 5m, 6m & 8m folding models. Uses a combination of elements as follows:
- 2 rows of straight leading tines which are individually adjustable for depth, enabling increased penetration into tractor wheelings.
- Hydraulically adjustable Springboard™ levelling system.
- 450mm (18") Tyre Roller crushes clods, firms the seedbed and provides depth control to the forward area of the harrow.
- The tine section further reduces and levels the seedbed. Choose either: Five rows of straight springtines, spaced to allow good soil flow yet achieving overall tine spacing of 50mm (2") OR Four-bar levelling harrow section with its sharp straight rigid tines to further reduce and level the seedbed.
- A mini levelling bar runs behind the last row of tines. This takes out the last row of tine marks and presents a level surface to the rear roller.
- 500mm (20") or 600mm diameter crumbler at the rear conditions and firms the surface as well as controlling the working depth at the rear of the machine. Choose either fine finish flat bar crumbler or round bar crumbler, better suited to stony soils.
- A new extra following Crosskill tyre roller option is now available to further enhance the rear finish.
- Numerous other combinations are possible using springtines, coils, toothed packers, razor rings etc.

Available with crumblers or Spiroller Coils (solid or hollow) to suit each customer’s soil conditions.
Comprises of a leading crumbler barrel (or coil), followed by three rows of ‘S’ tines (adjustable for pitch), followed by 2 rows of angle-back harrow tines and a rear crumbler. All components are manually adjustable to suit prevailing soil conditions. An optional road transport kit (206kg) is also available for the 3.5 and 4 metre rigid models. Tines are 12mm thick heavy duty ‘S’ tines.
Linkage mounted crumblers fitted are 350mm (14″) diameter. Coils fitted are 450mm (18″) diameter (solid or hollow). Tyre Rollers fitted are 450mm (18″) diameter.

Universal Levelling Harrow
Designed and manufactured to make a good, finished, clod–free seedbed for sugar beet, corn, peas etc. at speed and trouble free. The heavy scrubber board carries the hills to the holes and together with the smashing, crushing effect of the heavy steel crossbars a gradual breakdown is achieved.
The harrows are available as Standard with 80mm cross beam and 22mm (7/8“) diameter tines or as Heavy Duty with 100mm cross beam and 25mm (1”) diameter tines. Crumbler barrels are also available as Standard or Heavy Duty versions (14“). Mini coils (13” diameter) hollow or solid can be fitted instead of crumblers.
