V-Form Rapeseed Ready

The new V Form Plus ‘Rape Seed Ready’ combines a 3m V Form with either 5 or 7 subsoiler legs with aligned Razor Rings which localise and intensify pressing action in the moist ‘leg zone’ only.

A Terracast V2 metred seeder is mounted on the V Form frame with 5,6 or 7 outlets which can be fitted either on the subsoiler legs or immediately before the Razor Rings. The new V Form Plus gives a full 3m working width.

The new arrangement minimises disturbance to the soil between the rows of OSR which commonly stimulates weed germination and has the added benefit of leaving standing stubble in cornfields to provide a deterrent against greedy pigeons.

The narrow wings on the subsoilers show good results after emergence with less weeds, such as black weed .

The 200 litre capacity Terracast V2 has electronic rate controls, hopper sensors, a high capacity 12v fan, GPS speed input and advanced distribution head with a choice of feed rotors.
